Details

A matte black jar and a shade that opens like a flower.

The base is a round-bellied jar in a flat black finish, with a short neck. The shade has 14 rounded petals in beige cloth, piped in black along the scalloped edge. Together they sit low and quiet on a table or a nightstand.

What it is made of, and what it is not

  • Base: a round-bellied jar with a short neck, flat black finish. The workshop has not told us what it is made from, so we do not name it.
  • Shade: polyester cloth, 0.4 mm. The shade workshop confirmed polyester in writing. It is not silk and not linen.
  • Fitting: the shade's inner ring is made for an E26 or E27 socket. Sold without a bulb.
  • Cord: a cord with a plug, fitted with the plug for your country.
  • Not hardwired. Not battery.

Size

  • Shade: 34 cm across the bottom, 9.5 cm across the top opening, 23 cm tall.
